Did the pizza guy try to get me to drop the 2-liter?

I've never had problems with pizza delivery people. They've been late a few times, but besides that I've never had anyone do anything disrespectful until last week. I open the door and we exchange hellos, and I proceed to fill out the tip on the credit card receipt paper slip that the driver gives you. While I'm writing I hear one of the rudest and surprising things I've heard when someone is standing right next to me, he calls me the f-g-t word. I know I'm not the biggest talker, but just because someone is busy filling out your tip slip and not talking at the same time doesn't exactly give the delivery driver a reason to call me names. I decided not to make this situation anymore awkward than it already was, so i pretended i didn't hear him and gave him his tip slip back ($3 tip, that's what i always give). And then when he gave me the pizza he quickly but the 2 liter that I bought on top of the pizzas and tried to hand it to me quickly. The 2 liter was wobbling because it was standing up straight, not on its side. I quickly grabbed it just before it fell, and of course we exchanged byes and he left. I want to know what you think of this whole situation, and do you think he tried to make me drop the 2-liter just because he didn't like me?
