Sup i just completed the 3 part triology to xenosaga, and i would have to say it rocks. The story line is the best story line ive ever played on a video game. Going to court for a suspended license (florida). what should I bring?

I got pulled over a few weeks ago for my tags being expired and when I gave my drivers license to the officer he told me that my license is suspended. I was unaware and he said it was due to "financial responsibility". I looked into it and it turns out I had been pulled over a couple months prior and got a ticket for no proof of insurance. I paid the ticket and thought that it was taken care of. Apparently, now you have to get an SR22 form from your car insurance and present it to the clerks office in order to get your license reinstated. Getting this form is very expensive and I cannot afford to get it now. My court date is tomorrow and I have not reinstated my drivers license. What is going to happen to me?

Biology lab meltdown?

Okay so today was my first bio lab. It turns out that I was already supposed to familiarize myself with all of the parts of the microscope, the cells that I would be observing that day, and the ten pages worth of procedures that I was supposed to fully understand. The whole 3 hours seems like a blur now and I was so overwhelmed that I almost ped out. Now I have a 2 page worksheet to fill out and turn in by Wednesday but I don't know any of the questions seeing as how I screwed up the lab. What should I do? I filled out the 1040 A but i sent that e-file and since i did it online it says send a 8453-OL paper signed to the irs. So i have that completed and now im stuck with the ohio state tax forms. Am i at risk smoking cigars and pipe tobacco?

I am 16 years old, and i smoke cigars and pipe tobacco. I don't smoke it on a daily basis, but in the past 2 weeks i have had MAYBE 3 quarters of an ounce of pipe tobacco between MANY friends and probably 4 or 5 cigars between friends. I know its not a healthy habit to be into at my age, but it is kind of a social thing, and i would even make a stretch to say that cigar smoking is cly, opposed to cigarettes. The reason why i ask if i am at risk is because cancer is a number 1 killer around the world. I could stop cold turkey, but i don't just because its fun, and they taste good. A child support question?

hi, i live in west virginia. my girlfriend and i have a 1 year old son together. through the last year we have been locked in mortgage limbo on our house, therefore our addresses were listed as different. we were summoned to a child support hearing in which we were told that child support would only be taken out for 2 or 3 payments(i cant recall which it was) as backpay.and when we got our addresses straightened out to come back and let them know, at which time they would cease taking payments out of my paychecks. that was in oct 2010. about this time we moved into our new house but were still stuck in mortgage limbo, meaning i couldnt change my employment status or risk messing up the loan. here is where the fun really begins. No payments were taken out of my paychecks until dec 10, 2010. the first payment of $148 was taken out dec 10, another of the same amount was taken out on dec. 24, 2010(i get paid every 2 weeks). neither payment was sent to the child support agency until dec. 28, 2010. My girlfriend and i thought, "hey its a one time thing, no big deal, at least thats all that they will take and now its done"...we were wrong. the next paycheck had the same amount taken out and once again was not sent to the child support agency, i then started recieving letters in the mail from the child support agency stating that i was delinquent on my payments. my girlfriend and i then went to the agency this same thing occured on every paycheck for the next 2 months. payments taken out of my checks by my employer, yet not sent to the agency. after repeatedly trying to phone the agency, we finally went down to the office. while there, we were informed that it wasnt just my checks, but my employer was not sending any other employee's child support payments in either. he was apparently up to thousands of dollars behind. they had already notified him by letter. also, while at this meeting they informed us that if we wanted to end our child support case when we got the money from my employer that we could. they told us they were leaving the case open until he sent the money in, that way their lawyers could handle it and we wouldnt have to seek outside consultation. that was in february 2011. he has never gotten it caught all the way up, so we have never been able to get the case closed. now he is over $700 behind again. i ask the managers where i work about it and they tell me i have to talk to the accountants, when the child support office calls the accountant they tell them that the owner does the child support, then when they call him he becomes aggresive and profane and hangs up. these payments were supposed to stop being taken out in february and its still happening. it wouldnt be as bad if the money were being sent in, because then my girlfriend could get it and we could pay our bills with it. but that's not happening and we are falling behind on our bills and everything else and all the child support tells us is they turned it over to their attorneys and if we havent got the money in 3 weeks to come and talk to them again. i don't understand what they expect us to do. we can't tell the utility companies to wait a couple weeks can we? the main problem,as i already stated, is that these payments arent even supposed to be being taken out of my checks. what can i do about this? the child support bureau is clearly not that concerned about it and we are running out of options on our money. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Huge burning bump on the top of my foot?

I have no idea what it is.. but on the top of my foot is this huge bump (about the size of two toes). It's kind of squishy and it's burning. It hurts and it's red. Teething tablets and a lactose intolerant baby?

My 3 month old, lactose intolerant son is in the process of cutting his first two teeth and is so uncomfortable. I have been using cold teethers (a bit hard to use since he cannot hold them on his own-I just do that for him) and giving him baby Tylenol drops each night so he can sleep pain free (without them he wakes himself hourly crying hysterically). I have come across so many mothers that swear by teething tablets, so I thought I would try them out. When I looked over the ingredients I noticed lactose as the main inactive ingredient. I didn't dare buy them for fear I would have to go through the screaming, flailing gas fits he had before we knew he was lactose intolerant (I'm feeding, so all lactose was cut from my diet). He is chewing a bit on my and crying from the discomfort after just a few minutes of nursing. I really want to do all I can to get him through this with as little pain (for him) as possible. Have any lactose intolerant baby mother's used these tablets with success and no terrible gas/diarrhea ?

My husbands motility was in the lower percentile of normal, so they deemed us both perfectly healthy in the reproductive aspect....Now 3 years later I am 12 weeks pregnant and loving it! So we ttc for 4 years before any success. Remember you only have about a 20% chance of concieving each month...even if you have unprotected around the time you ovulate you're chances are actually only slightly higher about 5% higher....Since you are 39 days, I would say you ovulate around days 18-23 of your cycle. Only have every other day to give your husbands sperm a chance to build up...If you want, try buying some of those otc ovulation predictor tests....or First Response has a fertility test you can buy otc. I'm not sure how much it costs, but from what I have heard, it is VERY accurate....Now that I realize I didn't answer your two questions...Yes, they will check on days 3 and days 5 through blood to see if your levels of certain hormones are going up...They may send your husband to give a sperm sample. They may also do a transl ultrasound to make sure all your reproductive organs are functioning correctly. Don't worry...I was like you...4 years and nothing..and then in Feb. I got my big fat positive...3 days past my missed af...Hey...being gy and crampy is also signs of pregnancy...not trying to get your hopes up...but you could still be pregnant....alot of PMS signs are also signs of pregnancy and vise versa....If you don't start....buy a test and Good Luck! I have a friend, Sue, who was trying to become a physician istant, and was ready to enter a program this fall. Then, another PA told Sue that she might couldn't get a license b/c she had been to a methadone clinic in the past. The state board of medicine (WV) said that it was possible that she could find herself unable to be licensed after graduation. So, she decided to apply to a nursing program, but has not been able to get the state nursing board to answer her question. Also, I don't know if it matters, but Sue does have a medical condition for which she was prescribed narcotic pain relievers. She sought the help of a methadone clinic after developing a dependence on the pain pills, and then entered a Suboxone program to get off the methadone. She's very distraught that she may have irrevocably ruined her life by trying to get help, and needs to know ASAP whether she can enter a nursing program or not.

Going to get an upper endoscopy done, should I ask for any particular drug?

I have to get an upper endoscopy done in a few weeks and I'm pretty damn scared. I have a high sedative and pain killer tolerance from being an alcoholic for 15 yrs. When I had my cardiac cath. done I was still awake and could feel everything, it sucked. I know for sure I want to be out or as closed to out as one can get to not know whats going on for this procedure. I can't even swallow pills without choking. What would be a good drug or anesthesia to ask the doctor to use? It's not so much the gagging or vomiting that scares me as alcoholics do that all the time. It's the choking to death, suffocating or feelling of panic of having a tube shoved down your throat that scares me most. Please help me out here and if you have something negative to say, keep it to yourself. Thanks...

Whats wrong with guinea pig?

Ive had my guinea pig for 3 years in July, he was fine when we got him but in december 2008 his little rabbit friend died, he was also okay after this but last year around christmas time he began having severe constipation.(my dog also died around this time but they wernt really that close) I kept on giving him greens such as cabbage and broccoli (NO LETTUCE) it does go away but not completley and it keeps comming back, i also feed him on hay and gr he has fresh water daily (he doesnt really drink the water despite his teeth being short) he eats all of his dinner greens and hay but he has gone so thin its scarey. He still acts like a normal guinea pig but ive noticed that when he eats he heaves? and put his paw to his mouth although as soon as this is done he goes back to munching away happily. Has anybody had any problems like this with their guinea pigs? Thankyou

What is wrong with my A/C?

The problem started this Friday when our unit did not fully cool our house because there was not much air comming out of our vents. Saturday, I finally whent to check my unit and found out that the low pressure line was frozen (which probably ment that the evaporator coils were also frozen). We called the A/C tech and he took off the service panel and said that the eveporator coil was leaking. He said that he had put in 2 pounds of R-22 and the system did not hold a charge. Today, I took off the service panel to take a look for myself. I was surprised to find out that the entire bottom of the unit was literally submerged in water. I don't know how the water got there, but I'm sure that it had to leak out of the drain pan. So I checked the drain and it was clean, but the pan was really dirty. I vaced everything out with a shop vac and it started cooling our house again, except it still runs for about an hour and then shuts off for 5 minutes before restarting again. Unit: Heil PHM

This is not going to be the "best" answer, but friends and family helping you get going are great but you need to plan for them NOT being there to help you. If a "paid" job comes up you may get pushed to the side a little. Friends are great and we had many many friends help us to start a bakery, but the help lasted only for the first few weeks. Should I trust my Merrill Lynch advisor regarding his recommendations?

I currently have a significant portion of my account in individual preferred stocks. My Merrill Lynch advisor called me and told me about a preferred stock managed account that they oversee. The managers of this account also manage a similar preferred stock mutual fund (that has some differences). The mutual fund is ppsax. One website said that the mutual fund has fees tallying to about 1.4%. I did an ysis comparing the price movement of an average of my preferreds vs the price movement of the mutual fund and it looks like my preferreds beat it out over the 181 trading days i looked at it. I think switching to a managed fund reduces my flexibility..and creates more fees. I'd appreciate any comments especially from former advisors who aren't biased by being affiliated with ML..

Can you suggest any recipie which makes Bitter Melon taste good?

It is quite easy. I like bitter melon and I know how to make nice dish with that. First slice 2 medium size bitter melon and take off the seed and white thing beside the seeds. Take some salt and mix with bitter melon and squeeze out the liquid. Then rinse with water. Put some oil in fry pan and make it hot. Add sliced onion and a bit of turmeric powder. When onion turn to pink color add pounded dry prawn and stir for two minutes. Then add chili powder 1 tsp, add bitter melon, sugar 1/4 tsp, MSG 1/2 tsp continue frying for 3 minutes. Then add some water and cover it with lid. Garnish with coriander leave and serve. You can add some Tomato if you like paste style.
