How to make this dress look casual?

You could wear it with some black leggins or thick black tights and maybe ancle ugg boots + a leather jacket, i think that would look really nice. And maybe add some big detailed bracelets, or beaded ones, and if you like these ( not too sure if you do ) one of those plaited headbands would suit it very well! xxx
