How do we make $3,000 in 10 Weeks?

We are trying to set up a benefit concert for our friend that ped away to raise money for his family. We need to make at least $3,000 dollars to start our concert out. This is a senior project and we have 18 kids in our senior cl. If you could give any good fundraising, ideas, etc it would be greatly apprecitated!
